· Performed for Syrian professional theatres and Syrian Arab Television and Cinema.

· Played leading roles in dozens of plays in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, India, France, Czech Republic, Japan, USA, and other countries. 

· Selected Acting credits: Sada (Sada.. Sada, a musical for children by Nada Humsi); Yasmeen (The Dawn and Twilight of a Girl Named Yasmeen by Mohamed Karesly); Silvy (The Two Type Writers by Eric Shisgal, directed by Mohamed Karesly); Hana, (The Option by Nada Humsi); Maya and Others (It Happened in Arkutsk by Alexey Arbuzov); Anies (Tot Family by Istvan Orkeny); Dina (An interview in Buenosirus by Hernich Porovich); King Lear, Lady Macbeth, the Little Prince (Thread of Silver by Jawad Al-Asadi).

 

SELECTED AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

1981    Best Actress, Theatre Festival of Syrian Universities,  for her performance in A Journalist Interview In Buenos Aires, written by Henrich Borovich, directed by Tawfiq Al-Moazen.

1983    Best Actress, Carthage International Theatre Festival, Tunis, Tunisia, for performance in Tot Family, written by Istvan Orkeny, directed by Jawad Al-Asadi, The Palestinian National Theatre Group.

1985    Best Performance, Carthage Theatre Festival, Tunis, Tunisia for performance in Threads of Silver, written and directed by Jawad Al Asadi, The Palestinian National Theatre Group.

1988  First woman to write and perform a monodrama in Syria: The Option, directed by Riad Ismat. The show toured Syria, Egypt, Japan and the United States. Formal Recognitions from The Second Theatre Festival of Homs City for this performance.

1991  Established a Drama Centre in Yamato-machi, Japan. Instructed and performed Mime

1992    Best Performer, Toyama Theatre Festival, Toyama, Japan, for performance in The Dawn And Twilight of a Girl Named Yasmeen, written and directed by Mohamed Karesly, Mosaic Art Production, Syria.

1993    Best Children Marionette Play, The International Children Theatre Festival, Tunis, Tunisia for Sada… Sada, written by Nada Humsi, directed by Habiba Al-Jandoubi.

1996    Formal Recognitions from mayors of Yamato-machi and Toka-machi, Japan for performances in The Dawn And Twilight of a Girl Named Yasmeen and Meet with Japanese group.
